IIT Kharagpur is expected to release the GATE 2022 admit card on January 03, 2022. However, looking at the past year data, it is expected that admit card can also be released one day prior, i.e on January 2, 2021. In 2018, the due date for the release of the admit card was January 4. However, authorities released it a day before. The same happened in the year 2020. However, in 2019 and 2021, IIT released admit card on the exact date which was mentioned on the official exam notification. Hence, the possibility of early release is high. IITs have an impeccable record of not delaying events for GATE. Hene, delay in the release of the admit card is not expected.

The GATE  admit card will be released on the official website, i.e. gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Candidates who have successfully completed the registration process will be able to download it. To do so, candidates need to access GOAPS by entering enrollment id / e-mail id and password. Candidates have to download it as a pdf and produce a print copy of it on the exam day.

This year, GATE 2021 is due to be held on February 5, 6, 12, and 13, 2022. The papers will be held in two shifts, from 09:00 am – 12:00 pm and 14:30 pm – 17:30 pm. Lastly, the exam for ME, GE, AE, PE, and AR subject papers will be held on February 13, 2022.

The timing of the exam will be mentioned on the admit card of each candidate. In the GATE admit card crucial details are mentioned, like the exam date, time, center address, registration number, exam day, paper code, important instructions, etc. On the exam day, all the candidates will have to abide by the instructions given on it.

Apart from GATE 2022 admit card, candidates will also have to show their original photo id, PWD certificate (if applicable), and COVID-19 protection kit.
