Lizzo has always smashed it when it comes to fashion, that's for sure. But one new flavour to her style that has emerged this year? A strong flair for goth glam - whether it's a fire black lipstick beauty look on the 'gram or her gothic regencycore Jean Paul Gaultier dress at the VMAs (complete with lip ring!).

Now she's taken this look to new heights, dropping pics from a recent collab with Vanity Fair that features literally *all* goth glam looks. Like, a whole photo shoot's worth. Shot by the photographer Campbell Addy and styled by Patti Wilson (who has previously worked with Queen Bey), these photos are literally making the dreams of our Tumblr-obsessed teen selves come true.

There's a whole host of punk rock-style, fetish-inspired accessories and outfits, including fishnets, platform PVC boots, a BDSM collar and a spiked balaclava. Side note: is bondagecore a thing yet? Because it looks like Lizzo has taken a leaf out of Julia Fox's look with some serious BDSM chic.

But there's one look in particular that has stolen our hearts. Wait for it: it's a black, form-fitting, spider-esque dress with eight tendril-like 'legs' shooting out of the skirt and a high neck, styled with latex gloves and a pair of stick-on leather nipple rings. The dress is by New York-based designed Terrence Zhou and his Bad Binch TONGTONG label.

Interestingly, it's described as an 'octopus dress' on the brand's Instagram. While this makes sense (the dress has eight tentacles, like an octopus) it's pointing to an unexpected trend in fashion and beauty. Specifically, this isn't the first sea creature to inspire celeb style and the jellyfish has already appeared a major reference for the mullet-style haircut Nicole Kidman was seen rocking earlier this year and a floaty dress Dua Lipa stepped out in this summer.

We guess all's fair game in fashion land!
