Makita has launches seven High Performance gloves from general purpose to extreme impact protection and more.

Makita U.S.A., Inc. is introducing High Performance gloves with seven different functional styles, from general purpose to extreme impact protection. Makita High Performance gloves combine comfort, fit and dexterity with protection and durability features to meet the needs of the most demanding professional.

Makita High Performance Gloves offer function-specific features with intended uses ranging from box handling, landscaping and equipment operation to automotive, carpentry, construction and more. Glove packaging clearly communicates top features as well as ANSI and ISEA standard ratings where applicable including cut level, abrasion and impact protection so users can select the right glove for the job.

In addition to performance and durability, Makita designed the gloves for comfort, fit and dexterity. Design features include breathable materials, additional padding and reinforcement in high wear areas, stretch elastic cuffs and hook-and-loop wrist closures. The Colorado-based company will now be Bartlett's third business based in the state.

Bartlett Tree Experts has expanded its presence in Colorado with the  acquisition of Tree Top. Since 2002, Tree Top has served residential and commercial clients  throughout the Larimer County, Fort Collins, and Loveland areas.

The acquisition and addition  of a new Fort Collins office represents Bartlett’s 157th operation and third Colorado location.

The event is Aug. 29 in Cary, North Carolina.

Project EverGreen will host its inaugural golf classic on August 29 at the Lochmere Golf Club in Cary, North Carolina.

Registration and lunch will be served starting at 11:30 a.m. with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. Registration is $125 per golfer and $500 for a foursome. All registered golfers receive 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch, post-round reception, gift bag, and non-alcoholic beverages. The deadline for registering is August 22.
